District Convention (DCON) is April 13-April 15, the same week as prom, at the Sheraton Hotel in Denver. This is a wonderful chance for members all over our district to connect and review the year. District elections are also held at DCON, so anyone interested in running for a district position must attend (talk to Cass for more information). Registration is $190 which includes hotel, food, and events. Scholarships are available. If you are interested let Ms. Schyling or Cass know by March 21st at latest!!
It's also that time of year again, Elections! It will be Wednesday, April 4th during lunch in Ms. Schyling's room. Please inform Cass your intent to run by March 21st at latest. There is no age limit and previous board experience is not necessary. No need to show your copy of speech, but please have a prepared speech on the day of elections. All we ask for is dedication towards participation and projects. Click Here for descriptions of each board position.
Hours will be updated shortly. Keep checking back!
If you have any questions let us know! Thanks!

Just wanted to remind you all of the Senior Prom happening tomorrow. The event will be from 3:00 to 4:30 with set-up from 1:45 to 3:00 and clean-up from roughly 4:30 to 5:00. The Jazz band will be playing for us, which is a HUGE help so please THANK them!
Also, this is a formal dance and we expect our members to dress accordingly. This is not say that you need to go way over a top- a simple dress or button down shirt -- preferably with a tie :) -- will suffice. Feel free to dress up as much as you want, but know that nothing too spectacular is expected, just look nice. And remember, modesty is your friend.
Updated the club hours! If something doesn't look right please email p2pkeyclubwebsite@gmail.com or use the message function in the "Contact Information."
Thanks!

For our upcoming meeting...
1. We will be checking HOURS for first semester so make sure you bring your community service logs with you.
2. If you volunteered with an APPROVED OUT OF CLUB PROJECT, make sure those hours are signed by the coordinator or we won't accept them.
3. Think about our up coming events, Early Release Event (Thursday) and Senior Prom (Saturday), because you will be signing up.
Thanks! See you soon :)

Our first volunteer event of the semester is coming up BEFORE our first meeting, so we wanted to let you all know via website and email. On the 9th of January, Lia is hosting a math camp for 4th and 5th graders after school until 4pm. She needs volunteers to help with flash cards and math games. The camp is taking place in Mr. Hankla's room (N220). Please email Lia or Cass if you are interested in helping out. Thanks and enjoy the rest of your break!

NOTE TO THOSE WHO ARE VOLUNTEERING OUTSIDE KEY CLUB:
If you have volunteered outside of our Key Club projects please have your community service logs signed by the volunteer coordinator. This is our only way to know you have actually done it. These will go towards your required hours.

Thank you to those who helped out with the cookie baking for ALS! It turned out to be a success and many of you should look forward to a cooking career (Katie Volz) ;)
I updated the club member hours so please check on that to see how much you have (and need to get). Don't hesitate to ask me any questions regarding this.
I hope you all are having a wonderful break! We will see you all on January 11th! Thanks and Happy Holidays!
